Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, Senior Pastor of the Fountain of Life Church in Lagos, has publicly presented his wife, Pastor Mo Odukoya, to members of the congregation.
Titiansloaded reports that the introduction took place during the church’s Sunday service on November 1, 2026, at its headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State.
The announcement followed a social media post made by Odukoya a day earlier. On Saturday, he shared an image showing two hands wearing wedding rings on Instagram, accompanied by the caption, “To New Beginnings.”
The post prompted speculation among followers, with some congratulating the pastor before details of the union were made public.
During Sunday’s service, Odukoya introduced his wife as “Pastor Mrs Odukoya.” The couple then walked onto the stage as members of the congregation applauded and cheered.
Explaining his decision, the pastor said he had been alone for a period after taking over leadership of the church before finding a partner.
In a video shared on the church’s Facebook page, Odukoya referred to the biblical account of Adam and Eve, saying the Bible teaches that it is not good for a person to be alone.
He then formally presented his wife to the congregation, drawing on the scripture in which Adam describes Eve as “the flesh of my flesh, the bone of my bone.”
The couple later knelt before Pastor Tunde Bakare, General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church, who offered his blessings to the union.
