Music executive Ubi Franklin has addressed recent comments surrounding his relationship with Nigerian singer, Davido. In a social media post shared on Monday, Franklin clarified that he is not the personal assistant or “nanny” to the superstar, as some had suggested.
The CEO of *Made Music Group* took to X (formerly Twitter) after a user referred to him as Davido’s assistant. The user highlighted Davido’s acknowledgment of Franklin’s problem-solving abilities, noting that the singer refers to him as “#thesolutionist.”
In his response, Franklin explained his role as a business administrator, emphasizing that he works for Davido because of his professional qualifications and experience. He wrote: “Ubi is the CEO of Mademusicg, and if you see me working for Davido, it’s because I have the required qualifications and experience to do the job of a business administrator.”
Franklin further reiterated that while Davido may call him “#thesolutionist” due to his hands-on approach, he is not involved in any personal assistant or nanny duties. “If that makes you happy, so be it. I am on the business end, and that’s where I’ll always be.”
With this statement, Franklin solidified his position as a key figure in the business operations behind the scenes of Davido’s music empire, rejecting any misconceptions about his role.
