Springfield Private School (SPS) and Bosede Idehen International Academy (BIIA) have reached a significant milestone, celebrating 50 years of commitment to delivering top-tier education. The institution attributes its success to the grace of God, unwavering dedication, and its innovative approach to global standards in education.
Speaking to members of the press, the director shared insights into the dual-curriculum system that sets the school apart. “We have combined the American curriculum with the Nigerian curriculum to give our students the best of both worlds. This system ensures our kids enjoy the same standards and facilities available in the Western world,” she said.
The director emphasized the school’s legacy, which began with her mother, and reiterated the academy’s readiness to maintain its high standards. “SPS/BIIA is not just another institution. We prepare our students to face challenges with confidence and competence. We teach, we explore, and we focus on molding well-rounded individuals who excel both academically and socially,” she noted.
Beyond academic excellence, the school prioritizes social development, teaching students how to communicate effectively with peers, elders, and strangers. “None of our students can be intimidated. They are taught to speak up and stand out. These are the kind of leaders we are grooming here,” the director added.
The institution boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including modern laboratories, studios, home economics centers, an ICT hub, and a top-notch library. Additionally, the digital library equips students with research skills and internet proficiency.

As part of the anniversary celebration, the director announced ongoing plans to introduce cutting-edge innovations. “We understand the challenges students face after graduation, especially when securing admissions or adapting to societal demands. Currently, we are integrating tech-focused programs with internationally recognized certifications, enabling our students to pursue remote work and support themselves and their families,” she revealed.
“Our goal is to ensure our students stand out and avoid societal pitfalls. We believe an idle hand is the devil’s workshop, and we are committed to grooming disciplined, competent, and confident future leaders,” the director concluded.

Springfield Private School and Bosede Idehen International Academy are determined to continue delivering the best education and innovative solutions to prepare students for a dynamic global society.
