The Bosede Idehen 5-A-Side Tournament 2 edition has delivered an entertaining start, with two matches producing a combined 13 goals as participating teams continue their battle for honours.
Hosted by Bosede Idehen International Academy and sponsored by Bosede Okoroma Idehen Foundation, the tournament is taking place at Springfield Private School/Bosede Idehen International Academy, 3 Ekoro Road, Abule-Egba, Lagos.
Bosede Idehen opened its campaign with a commanding 7–2 victory over Golden Star in the first fixture of the day.
The match kicked off at 3:30 p.m. and featured two 25-minute halves separated by a five-minute half-time interval.
Bosede Idehen impressed with a strong attacking display, finding the net seven times to secure a comfortable victory.
Golden Star managed two goals but could not match the attacking intensity of their opponents.
The second fixture produced another competitive encounter, with God’s Merit securing a 3–1 victory over Josab.
The game started at approximately 4:30 p.m., with both teams showing determination and attacking ambition.
God’s Merit eventually gained the advantage and finished the contest with a deserved three-goal haul.
Josab scored once but could not overturn the deficit as God’s Merit claimed the win.
