As part of activities marking the 2026 end-of-session and valedictory celebrations, Springfield Private School and Bosede Idehen International Academy treated their graduating Senior Secondary School Three (SS3) students to a memorable Prom Party, creating an evening filled with celebration, inspiration and unforgettable memories.
Titansloaded reports that the colourful event, which began at about 5:00 p.m., brought together graduating students, teachers, school administrators, parents and invited guests to celebrate the Class of 2026 after months of intensive academic work and examinations.
The prom was organised to honour the graduating students for their hard work and dedication while giving them an opportunity to relax and celebrate before taking the next step in their academic journey.
One of the major highlights of the evening was the crowning of the Prom King and Prom Queen, a moment that generated excitement among the students and added glamour to the celebration. Music, dance performances, games and social interactions further made the event a memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
Delivering his welcome address, the Principal, Mr. Oluwole, congratulated the graduating students for reaching an important milestone in their lives. He urged them to remain disciplined, focused and determined as they move on to higher institutions and future careers.
Other members of staff also addressed the students, offering words of encouragement and reminding them that graduating from secondary school is only the beginning of greater achievements.
The event was anchored by the Head Teacher of Springfield Private School, Mr. Ayeni, who ensured the programme progressed smoothly from beginning to end.
Speaking with journalists after the event, the Proprietress and Director of Springfield Private School and Bosede Idehen International Academy, Mrs. Maureen Idehen Ovabor, said the students deserved to be celebrated after their commitment and resilience throughout the academic session.
According to her, the graduating students devoted the term to preparing for their final examinations and had earned the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments.
She expressed confidence that the students would excel academically, noting that they had worked diligently and were well-prepared to achieve outstanding results.
“The students have paid their dues through dedication and hard work. I am optimistic they will come out in flying colours. I believe nothing should stop them from celebrating this milestone because it is just the beginning of greater things ahead,” she said.
Mrs. Ovabor further reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing students academically, morally and socially, adding that Springfield Private School and Bosede Idehen International Academy will continue to provide an environment where learners are encouraged to excel in every aspect of life.
