Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has penned a very emotional tribute to herself and other mothers across the globe. She recently opened up about her journey to motherhood and the overwhelming love she feels for her daughter.
Speaking via her social media page, Ini described her child as the mini version of her, while admitting that every time she sees her, she is filled with joy and gratitude.
According to the actress, she remembers questioning the delay during her journey to becoming a mother, but looking back now, it is obvious that her baby came at the exact time God wanted.
“Every time I look at you, your loving and compassionate nature, your ever-vibrant and happy self, I am overwhelmed with so many emotions that I ask myself, ‘Why did you wait so long?’ Then I realized that, as my name implies, ‘God’s time,’ I was simply waiting for you.
I am humbled and in awe of how you manifest every promise you have made to me. I just want to express my joy and my gratitude for the greatest gift of all. The gift of love wrapped up in my little girl,” she wrote.

Appreciating her Creator for blessing her with the gift of motherhood, the movie star stressed that being a mother is the ultimate expression of love.
Ini Edo revealed that God deserves all of her thanks because He keeps bringing into manifestation every promise He has ever made to her.
She then urged women who are still hoping to become mothers to keep trusting in Him while waiting for their own miracle.
“Motherhood is a promise to every woman who desires it, and God is not a man that He should lie. Your time is near,” she added.
