The Inspector‑General of Police, Tunji Disu, has charged officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force to uphold discipline and integrity in the discharge of their duties.
Titansloaded reports that IGP Disu emphasised that any form of misconduct would not be tolerated and urged personnel to respect citizens’ rights, act ethically during operations, and maintain the highest professional standards.
The directive comes amid increasing public scrutiny over police conduct and ongoing internal reforms aimed at curbing unprofessional behaviour, enhancing accountability, and improving public confidence in the Force.
Disu’s message aligns with nationwide efforts to strengthen institutional integrity within the Nigeria Police Force, ensuring that officers rise above indiscipline, corruption, and other forms of misconduct.
The police chief also highlighted that maintaining professionalism and ethical standards is critical to building trust with communities and safeguarding the reputation of the Force.
