A shocking incident occurred in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, as an Inspector of Police, Victor Okus, allegedly shot two colleagues during duty. The officers were attached to the 17 Police Mobile Force (PMF) and were on special assignment at Next Cash and Carry Supermarket, Trans-Amadi.
Titansloaded reports that Inspector Ibrahim Sani sustained fatal injuries and later died, while Inspector Daniel Dauda was critically injured and admitted to Nopsam Hospital for medical treatment. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are currently under investigation.
The suspect, Victor Okus, was immediately taken into custody by the Rivers State Police Command. Police spokesperson CSP Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the arrest and assured the public of a thorough investigation into the incident.

The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, has ordered a full-scale investigation into the matter. Victor Okus is expected to face an Orderly Room Trial followed by prosecution in a court of law for his actions.
