Veteran Nollywood actor Ganiu Nofiu, a.k.a Alapini Oosa, has come out to say that President Bola Tinubu failed to recognize his support during the 2023 general elections. The movie star recently shared that he definitely deserved better from the president after backing him during the polls.
Speaking via a viral video, Alapini disclosed that despite actively campaigning for the president alongside his colleagues, they have received no acknowledgement or reward for their efforts.
According to him, he and his fellow Nollywood stars went as far as going to the most remote areas to campaign for BAT, and Olaiya Igwe in particular, who supported by going naked at a beach, has not received any compensation for his support.

The actor revealed that everyone did what they did for Tinubu because they felt he was Nigeria’s messiah, but he has repeatedly overlooked them since he got into power.
Alapini concluded by saying that he sees politicians getting curses in return when they seek support from Nigerians ahead of the 2027 elections.
“We thought our messiah had come.
How many hospitals has Seyi Tinubu visited in Yorubaland?
Maybe what people will get for the 2027 re-election campaign is curses,” he said.
