Nigerian R&B singer and politician Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has joyfully announced the birth of his second child with his wife, actress Adesuwa Etomi. The couple welcomed a baby boy, sharing their excitement with fans through a heartfelt post on social media.
In a touching Instagram video shared on October 30, Banky W showcased his journey of support for his wife during this new chapter. The music mogul highlighted his dedication to family life, emphasizing that marriage is a “100-100 partnership, not 50-50.” He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be a supportive husband and hands-on father, taking on roles from chef to homework helper.
“Partnership is 100-100, not 50-50,” he wrote. “In this season, I’ve been a chef, housekeeper, nanny, homework teacher, masseuse, and more, all as part of my duty as a supportive husband and present father of two. And honestly, I couldn’t be happier.” Banky also shared his commitment to advocating for working mothers as he continues his studies in Policy Management at Georgetown University, underscoring his dedication to uplifting women.
