Minister of State for Works, Muhammad Goronyo, has said that the Federal Government remains committed to tackling Nigeria’s vast infrastructure deficit. He recently outlined the progress made so far in President Tinubu’s two years in office.
Speaking with journalists in Sokoto, Goronyo said that President Bola Tinubu’s government inherited more than 36,000 kilometres of road network and various uncompleted projects upon taking office.
According to him, President Tinubu has initiated several strategic road projects that are either ongoing or newly initiated across the country, and the FG will keep prioritizing continuity and completion of inherited projects.
He reiterated that BAT is hell bent on fixing Nigeria, stressing that his vision is not only to build roads, but to expose the country to more foreign businesses and investment.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is all out to fix Nigeria. His vision is not just to build roads, but to open up the entire country to international businesses and investment,” he said.
