Former Nollywood actor Linc Edochie has reacted to the trolls mocking him for remarrying after divorcing his first wife. Linc and Yinka, his new wife, have been receiving heat on social media after she left a comment on her brother-in-law, Yul Edochie’s page.
Speaking via a viral clip shared online, Linc urged Nigerians to leave him and his wife alone.
Addressing the people who said he divorced his wife to marry an “old cargo”, he said that his family didn’t create the problems in Nigeria.
According to him, the rumours saying his family absconded with May Edochie’s money after her separation from Yul are false as well, and he wonders how such an absurd report was in circulation in the first place.
He warned the people behind the attack to remember that karma comes for those who insult others unjustly.
“In the last 24 to 48 hours, the internet has been ablaze with pictures of me and my new wife. A lot of people have attacked us and have said all soughts of things and I am wondering ‘why can’t you let people be?’
In our culture, when you insult an elder who has done nothing wrong to you, Karma will come for you. When mindless bloggers were insulting my family, my parents, my eldest brother and myself, calling us all soughts of names saying we we are ritualists, did voodoo and spent May’s money, I am wondering where is all this nonsense coming from?” he said.

He further noted that the level of criticism and insults directed at his family, based on rumours that lack any fact or evidence, is very alarming.
Linc concluded by saying that he doesn’t care what anyone says about his decisions, stressing that he is even laughing at the reactions.
“No facts, no evidence, Nothing! A family that has done nothing wrong to you.
I don’t care what names you call…’You married an old cargo’ and I am laughing. Do you know who she is? Do you really know anybody?” he added.
