Nollywood actress Thelma Chukwunwem has said that she has never slept with any producer or director despite spending 31 years in the industry. She recently revealed that no filmmaker can come out to claim otherwise.
Speaking during an interview with Vanguard, Thelma shared that while she constantly faced heavy sexual advances early in her acting career, she never gave in to anyone.
According to her, despite the many temptations over the years, she maintained her stance to keep her dignity and rejected the corrupt filmmakers.

“There were temptations, but I stood my ground. If you thought I had to sleep with you for a role, you could keep your script,” she said.
Thelma further stated that a director once told her that she wouldn’t go far if she didn’t play along, but she immediately rebuked him by saying he is not God.
She shared that she met the same director at a movie premiere years later, and all he could say to her was, “Stubborn girl.”
The movie star concluded by saying that her strong upbringing, discipline, and faith are to thank for her staying power in Nollywood.
“Years have passed. God has helped me,” she added.
