President Bola Tinubu has criticised opposition figures Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, raising questions about their leadership records and political decisions.
Titiansloaded reports that Tinubu made the remarks on Friday during the commissioning of projects in Akwa Ibom State, where he compared efforts to tackle erosion in the state with the situation in Anambra under Obi’s administration.
The President accused Obi, whom he described as a presidential candidate of the New Democratic Congress (NDC), of failing to address the erosion problem in Anambra before seeking the nation’s highest political office.

Tinubu contrasted this with his own efforts to tackle coastal erosion and Governor Umo Eno’s ongoing intervention in Akwa Ibom.
“I, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I confronted the Atlantic Ocean. I claim it for you. Umo Eno confronted the erosion in Akwa Ibom and is working for, he is stable,” he said.
He also questioned Atiku’s departure from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and his alignment with the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Tinubu recalled the former vice-president’s long association with the PDP, arguing that his decision to leave the party over internal disagreements raised concerns about his political consistency and leadership qualities.
“If a man that was, once upon a time, was a baby of PDP, became a father of PDP. And because of a little inconvenience, he ran away from that party. And formed a dangerous ADC in another party. Is that a leadership trait? Is that a leadership character? And he wants you to vote for him?” the President asked.
