The Federal High Court in Lagos has granted Nollywood actress Doris Ogala bail of ₦30 million, with two sureties in the same amount, over allegations of cyberstalking and other offences involving Pastor Chris Okafor.
Titiansloaded reports that Justice Akintayo Aluko, who delivered the ruling on Friday, ordered Ogala to surrender her international passport to the court registrar. He also barred her from publishing electronic content capable of harassing, threatening or intimidating prosecution witnesses while the trial continues.
The judge said the conditions were necessary to secure her attendance in court and protect witnesses.

He expressed concern over Ogala’s alleged disruption of proceedings on October 28, 2026, which reportedly forced the adjournment of 10 cases. However, he acknowledged her apology and stressed that she remained presumed innocent.
Ogala must provide two sureties who reside within the court’s jurisdiction and have verifiable means of livelihood. One must own registered property in Lagos or be a prominent political party official or reputable individual.
The sureties must also submit three years of tax clearance certificates and recent passport photographs.

The prosecution had opposed bail, alleging that Ogala previously missed court dates despite claiming ill health. It also raised concerns that her social media activities could expose witnesses to intimidation.
Her defence argued that the offences were bailable and that she would not interfere with the trial or evade justice.
Ogala was absent when the case was called. Her lawyer, Marshal Abubakar, informed the court that she was receiving treatment at General Hospital, Ajegunle, following gynaecological surgery that reportedly caused bleeding.
