Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has confirmed that his upcoming album, Oldest Young Man, will be released on November 27, 2026.
Titiansloaded reports that the singer shared the announcement on his verified Instagram page on Thursday, describing the project as music that would stand the test of time.
“The legacy continues. OLDEST YOUNG MAN drops 27.11.26. Timeless music, no expiration date,” he wrote.
The forthcoming album will mark 2Baba’s first studio release since Warriors, which arrived in 2020. The new project therefore ends a six-year wait for a full-length album from the veteran performer.

He had previously teased the project in August, telling fans that the album was on the way.
“I’ve lived it, I’ve seen it, I’m still here. My new album, Oldest Young Man, is coming soon,” he said at the time.
2Baba began building his reputation in the Nigerian music scene in the 1990s as a member of Plantashun Boiz, a group he formed with Blackface and Faze in 1996.

Following the group’s success, he launched a solo career and released several projects, including Face 2 Face in 2004, Grass 2 Grace in 2006, The Unstoppable in 2009, Away and Beyond in 2012, The Ascension in 2014, Rewind, Select, Update in 2015 and Warriors in 2020.
The release of Oldest Young Man is expected to add another chapter to the singer’s longstanding career in the Nigerian music industry.
