The Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, has suspended Nollywood actress Shirley Igwe following allegations that she assaulted a crew member on a movie set. Recall that reports recently said that Shirley slapped a member of the Creative Designers Guild of Nigeria, CDGN, during a production, prompting quick disciplinary action from the AGN.
Speaking via a press statement issued to its state chapter chairmen and the national chairman, the Guild announced that the actress had been placed on indefinite suspension pending further investigation.
