Olowookere Fatai Olorunwa, popularly known as FantaaComedy, is fast becoming a household name in Nigeria’s content creation space. Known for his hilarious money-themed pranks and surprise property “purchases” that leave unsuspecting victims in awe, FantaaComedy has carved a unique niche for himself in the world of online comedy.
In an exclusive interview with Telling Moments with Theophilus, the comic sensation opened up about his journey, the challenges he’s faced, and the surprising realization of his fame.
According to Fantaa, his content creation journey began as far back as 2010, but life’s unpredictability forced him to take a break. “The up and down of the country affected a lot,” he said. “But I’m a go-getter, and in 2018, I went into it fully without looking back, no matter the challenges.”

His persistence began to pay off — but fame crept up unexpectedly. “I didn’t even know I was famous until I was at a bus stop and people started shouting ‘Fantaa! Fantaa!’” he recalled with a smile. “That was when I said to myself, ‘Omo, I am now a celebrity.’”

Today, moving around his community freely has become nearly impossible without hearing his name chanted from every corner. Yet, despite the recognition, Fantaa remains humble. “I haven’t made it yet,” he said. “I’m still looking up to the bigger content creators out there. But I know I’m better than I was yesterday.”
FantaaComedy emphasized that his growth is no accident. “I was prepared and intentional. I told myself, I must make it.”
As his fanbase continues to grow and his name echoes louder across social media, the young comic is optimistic about what lies ahead. He revealed he’s open to brand deals and endorsements, signaling a new phase in his creative journey.
In a landscape where consistency is key, FantaaComedy is proving that with determination, resilience, and a touch of humor, anything is possible.
