Nollywood filmmaker, Aniebiet Francis, has said that she was tagged a bitter feminist when she started criticising women who make men comfortable in their joblessness. She recently revealed that several “pick me” women particularly slammed her for her post back then.
Speaking via her social media page, Aniebiet said that her wise words fell on deaf ears months back, but many are quiet now that a respected pastor’s wife has echoed her thoughts.
“This post got me laughing so hard. When I started criticising women who make men comfortable in being broke, jobless and unproductive.
Pickme women and their “crowns” accused me of being a bitter feminist that is encouraging pussyprenuership. Now a married and respected pastor’s wife is preaching that sermon, car has caught their tongues,” she wrote.

The producer maintained that she will not stop speaking the truth that everyone is scared to voice out, stressing that she knows many are only scared of being criticised when they speak up about it.
Francis concluded by saying that she is very comfortable with standing alone with an opinion as long as she knows she is saying it as it really is.
“The truth is, years ahead of this generation and I dare to speak that truth everyone is thinking of but are afraid to speak.
I also have the courage to stand alone in a room full of opposing views and still scream that truth to power. Let me find food and eat abeg!” she added.
