British-Nigerian actor Damson Idris has admitted that he is a mummy’s boy. The moviestar recently revealed that he used to be ashamed of the label, but not anymore.
Speaking during an interview on Kiss FM London, the 33-year-old celebrity expressed deep admiration for his mother live on air.
Admitting that his mum is his biggest fan and the reason for his existence, he noted that if there is one person in the world he constantly wishes to make proud, it is definitely her.
According to him, while he used to find it very difficult to admit to being a mama’s boy, he has found himself flaunting the tag shamelessly in recent years.

“I am a mummy’s boy. Big time. I am not ashamed to admit it anymore. It used to be kind of like – ‘ah, he’s a mummy’s boy.’ I am actually proud of myself on it.
She is the one I want to make proud… She is my biggest fan and I’m her biggest fan,” he said.
Drawing a connection to a movie character named Joshua, Damson added that he understands the character’s desire to make his mother proud, and he hopes to achieve something similar in real life.
