Popular Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi, has said a co-parenting moment recently left her heartbroken and confused. She shared that her daughter’s long hair was unexpectedly chopped off while she was spending time at her father’s house.
Speaking via her social media page, Korra revealed that she suddenly saw her daughter, who used to have beautiful long hair, with a small afro, and she didn’t know what to do or how to feel.
The entertainer disclosed that she couldn’t understand how half of her baby’s hair could be cut off without her permission or consent.
“Please what will you do. if you pick up your child from their father’s house — you’re co-parenting — and you see that they’ve chopped up your child’s hair?
This is the story of my life, guys,” she wrote.
According to her, instead of reacting in anger, she has decided to adjust to her daughter’s new look, hence her decision to look for ways to style her shorter hair on the internet.
Korra concluded by saying that amid all of the confusion and heartbreak, she has decided to choose peace and positivity.
“Before, I would put it in a ponytail. But baby girl has no hair anymore.
My sister and I saw that they do co-parenting for this America. Me, I don’t know.
I’m not going to bust the windows out of anybody’s car. You go dey do yourself. God no go deal with you,” she added.
