Microsoft has announced the launch of 10 advanced artificial intelligence agents designed to enhance efficiency across sales, customer service, finance, and supply chain operations. In a statement released Monday, the company highlighted that these AI-driven tools could help businesses save up to $50 million annually, comparable to the output of 187 full-time employees.
“AI is today’s ROI and tomorrow’s competitive edge,” Microsoft stated, underscoring the technology’s value for businesses striving to stay ahead in competitive markets.
The newly introduced “autonomous agents” are equipped to handle various tasks, such as qualifying sales prospects and automating time and expense tracking. These agents are set to roll out in public preview within Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 platform later this year, with further releases continuing into early 2025. Microsoft also hinted at a significant expansion, stating plans to introduce “many more agents in the coming year.”
