Popular Afrobeats singer, Kizz Daniel, has revealed the main reason why he makes his kind of music. He recently shared some insight into the driving force behind his style of music.
Speaking via a recent Instagram story, Kizz Daniel emphasised that his songs are never recorded to sound nice just for the sake of it, confirming that he focuses more on ensuring all of his creative work is very relatable.
According to him, he has never been one to make music for aesthetics, and every song he has ever written or recorded was inspired by what his listening audience could relate to.
“I don’t make music for aesthetics. No be by ‘make e sound fine’. One rule: relatability,” he wrote.

The Nigerian singer further stressed that even if a song is produced by a relatively unknown beat maker or voiced by an upcoming artist, as long as its message resonates with listeners, that’s all that matters.
He then urged fellow artists to concentrate on releasing songs that pass a message to Nigerian and global audiences, reiterating that music should always mean something to whoever makes it and those who listen.
