Popular music executive and record label owner, Don Jazzy, has said that he will no longer accept free gifts from anyone. He recently warned fellow citizens about the dangers of accepting free gifts, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking via his social media page, the music producer shared that some Nigerians like to offer him freebies only to expect major favours in return.
He highlighted how the people his message is directed to will act like the gift is coming with no strings attached, but as soon as he collects it from them, they’ll start to ask for favours they want in return.

Don Jazzy jokingly gave an example of an Nkwobi seller who forced him to eat free Nkwobi, only to later go as far as asking for popular Mavins singer Rema in return.
“You are selling Nkwobi, you come and give me free Nkwobi. I don’t want free Nkwobi. But you now give me free Nkwobi, I’ve chop it finish. Then later you’re asking me to give you Rema. How you want to use Nkwobi to collect Rema?” he said.
Don Baba J concluded by saying he won’t be receiving free gifts from anyone in the near future because he doesn’t have the energy for the demand that such freebies will come with later.
“Don’t give me. I don’t want. Thank you. Bye bye,” he added.
