Portable’s wife, Ashabi Simple, has come out to speak in defence of her relationship and marriage to the controversial singer. She recently blasted those criticizing her decision to stay with Portable despite their frequent public disagreements.
Speaking via a TikTok live session, Ashabi shared that no amount of external pressure would make her walk away from her marriage.
According to her, no matter what people say, she will never leave Portable, and that decision will remain unchanged because she is in love with the singer.
“I can never leave Portable, no matter what people say. I love being in love I even have to control myself sometimes,” she said.

Addressing comments suggesting that she rushed into the marriage, the mother of two pointed out that many women older than her are still looking for a husband, and some who were married before are now divorced.
She maintained that her family fully supports her decision to marry Portable, and reports saying otherwise should be disregarded.
Ashabi noted that people saying she settled down with the singer because of his money cannot be more wrong, because she was making her own money before she met him.
“I made millions before I met Portable,” she added.
Simple concluded by saying that she was already famous before their relationship began.
