Nollywood actor Stan Nze has said that he will never risk his life to interpret a movie role. He recently revealed that doing such would only be foolish because no moviestar should ever have to go that far.
Speaking during an interview, Stan shared that there is a reason producers employ professional stunt actors who get paid hefty amounts for their risky performances.
According to him, an actor who has no experience with stunts must avoid jeopardizing his or her life to please an audience.
He stated that the dangerous parts should always be left to the experts, while the actors focus on the acting side of things.
“Why would I?
I have done films where characters jump, but those scenes are done by stunt guys—it is their job. We have stunt actors who get well paid to do their thing. They have the experience, the knowledge of how to jump and whatever else they need to do,” he said.

He further noted that sacrificing your life for applause and recognition is a reward that will never be worth the cost.
Stan concluded by saying that if any actor loses his life while trying to win best actor, everyone will mourn for a short time and move on.
“I’m not going to be foolish and say, because I want to be the best actor in Africa, I’ll jump down and then people go do one minute of silence and move on. It’s stupidity. I’m going to be alive, get the right training, and do the stunts I am meant to do, while stuntmen do their job,” he added.
