Popular Nigerian politician, Senator Dino Melaye, has blasted veteran entertainer, Charly Boy, after the activist criticised him for his lavish lifestyle. Recall that Charly Boy had mocked Dino for frequently flaunting his wealth to mask his deeper emotional issues.
Reacting via a viral clip, Melaye simply accused Charly Boy of trying to use his name to stay relevant on social media.
According to him, the singer is nothing but a broke agbaya who acts and speaks like his destiny has been locked away with no key in sight.
“Charly Boy is trying to use my name to gain popularity because his destiny has been thrown inside a freezer,” he said.

Dino further blasted Charly Boy for having the effrontery to talk despite his poor living condition, alleging that the activist has a leaking roof with no money to fix it.
The former lawmaker stated that it is ironic that a man who places a huge motorbike in front of his house like a statue is complaining about other people showing off.
He concluded by calling the musician a bad son of a good father, warning him to watch how he drags him online henceforth.
“I heard he has a leaking roof but he has no money to fix it. He places a whole big bike in front of his house like a statue and doesn’t see that as a show-off.
Boda agbaya..Charly Boy. Bad son of a good father. Egungun wey dey climb okada. Be careful,” he added.
