Popular singer Ariana Grande has hailed Madonna and Beyoncé for reaching out to her when she got famous. Ariana recently revealed that she was fortunate to be around legendary singers she admired growing up.
Speaking on a new episode of the “Shut Up Evan” podcast, the artist shared that Madonna and Beyoncé welcomed her with open arms after her music career took off.
According to her, when she started emerging as the main pop girl to watch in the early 2010s, she was lucky enough to have her idols in her corner.
Grande stated that Madonna was particularly kind to her at the time, and the warm welcome definitely meant a lot to her.
“I’m very lucky that my idols have been very kind to me.
I remember Madonna immediately was very kind. I think she was one of the first people to reach out and, like, give me a warm welcome, and it was just really cool. I was overwhelmed by it, because I love her so much,” she said.

The songstress further noted that Beyoncé extended an invitation to meet her in 2013, and the entire experience made her feel like she was in good hands.
Ariana Grande concluded by saying that it felt reassuring to be surrounded by her role models when she needed affection and guidance.
“Beyoncé had me come visit a music video she was shooting, and I was just there in the corner. I was like, ‘Why am I here?’ It was after I sang ‘Tattooed Heart’ on the AMAs. She invited me to set to visit her, and she just was being kind — she gave me a little bit of advice, and, you know, I asked, but she was so kind.
But yeah, I feel like I had people I really looked up to embrace me. It made me feel safe.
And then, of course, Mariah Carey,” she added.
