The African Democratic Congress has vowed to wrest power from the All Progressives Congress government in the 2027 general elections in Imo State. The party recently shared that it would leave nothing to chance to ensure it defeats the APC in the forthcoming polls.
Speaking at the convergence of coalition partners meeting of ADC in Owerri, tagged “Operation Power Must Change Hand 2027 in Imo State,” the National Vice Chairman South East, Chilos Godsent, revealed that the ADC would lead the ballot revolution in Imo State in 2027.
According to him, APC has only delivered a reactionary, inept, and exploitative governance in Imo State thus far, and the current administration has only enslaved and brutalized the people in the last five years.

The Convergence of Coalition Partners Meeting of ADC in Imo State was attended by more than 300 party faithfuls, including decampees from other political parties and groups.
Dignitaries who spoke at the rally blasted the growing impunity of the government of Imo State, stressing that the shameful violation of the fundamental human rights of citizens has contributed to the rising economic hardship across the state.
