Popular music producer Swizz Beatz has confirmed that he is still married to famous singer Alicia Keys. This comes after reports circulated that the songstress has filed for divorce because Swizz cheated.
In a new social media post, the beatmaker simply shut down the rumour, describing the reports as fake.
Flaunting a video of the couple smiling, laughing and dancing together, Swizz clarified that everyone knew about their looming divorce except him and his wife.
Stressing that people only prefer to believe fake news because they are miserable in real life, he declared that whatever they believe won’t change the fact that he and Alicia Keys are still happily married.
“Everybody knew we was Divorced but us. We found out on our 15yr anniversary vacation.
People rather believe fake gossip instead of the truth because they’re miserable we have nothing to do with that !!! Bless up !!” he wrote.

Swizz and Keys met in the 1990s and reconnected in 2008. They announced their engagement and first pregnancy two years later, before they eventually got married in July 2010.
The couple currently share 2 children together, Egypt Daoud and Genesis Ali, and Keys is stepmom to Beatz’s three children from previous relationships, Prince Nasir, Kasseem Jr. and Nicole.
Celebrating their 15 years of marriage in July, Keys wrote, “We are sublime / Devoted / Longer than time / You are mine / I am yours /And yet we set each free / Nowhere else / Nowhere more / I am wanting to be / Look at us / And see / Truth / Love / And beauty / Forever yours / Completely / Forever yours / Completely,” she wrote, rounding out the message with, “What a time / What a time / We are sublime.”
