After spending a few days in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), popular activist, VeryDarkMan, has finally regained his freedom. In a viral clip making rounds online, VDM was captured in his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju’s car after being released from the anti-graft agency’s custody.
He was all smiles while having a conversation with his lawyer at the back of the vehicle, and they both joked about what they’ve had to go through in the past few days.
According to Deji, the EFCC had no idea that VDM was using debt to fund his charity causes, and his client even kept it a secret from him, his legal representative.
Also confirming the news of VDM’s release, Pascal Okechukwu a.k.a Cubana Chiefpriest, shared a clip of the activist having a good time at his house.

In a post shared on his social media page, Cubana revealed that the freedom fighter is back outside, and what did not kill him will only make him stronger.
Fans of the content creator have since gone online to celebrate his release after his controversial arrest. They thanked God and expressed optimism that things would improve in Nigeria now that the voice of the people is free again.
Recall that several Nigerians called for his release after his arrest, with many concerned citizens going as far as protesting in Abuja and Port Harcourt.
VDM’s friend, Dkokpoppe, also came out to urging fellow concerned Nigerians to come out in their numbers to speak against an arrest that happened unlawfully.
