Nigerian singer and politician Olubankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has opened up on the emotional and physical challenges he and his wife, actress Adesua Etomi, endured during their fertility journey.
Titansloaded reports that Banky W revealed the couple went through multiple rounds of in vitro fertilisation (IVF), describing the process as deeply exhausting and emotionally draining for his wife, Adesua.
He disclosed that the journey was marked by painful setbacks, including failed IVF attempts and the heartbreaking loss of a twin pregnancy, which he described as one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
According to him, beyond the medical procedures, Adesua also faced intense emotional stress and public speculation, which further intensified the pressure on their marriage during the struggle.
Banky W noted that despite the challenges, the couple held firmly to faith, love, and mutual support, which helped them navigate the difficult phases of their journey to parenthood.
He added that their persistence eventually paid off as they welcomed their child after years of waiting, setbacks, and emotional endurance.
