President Bola Tinubu has assured citizens that his government will keep implementing initiatives to support the people. He recently revealed that his pledge is part of his administration’s broader economic recovery agenda.
Speaking at the 10th General Assembly of the Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN) held at the Bola Babalakin Auditorium in Gbongan, Osun State, represented by the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, BAT said that he’ll keep prioritizing financial support schemes, job creation programs, palliatives, and policies that aid innovation and creativity.
According to him, there is a clear need for economic diversification, especially through enhanced access to quality education aligned with the technology-driven global economy.
He then urged Nigerians to focus on the vast opportunities available in the economy despite the present hardship.
“With discipline and focus, Nigeria can chart a new course toward prosperity,” he said.

The Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar, further appealed to Nigerians to keep warding off divisive forces by staying united.
He concluded by condemning killings by terrorists and bandits, stressing that security agencies should focus on eradicating criminals, regardless of religion or tribe.
“Those killing people are not Muslims but criminals. I urge security operatives to apprehend and deal decisively with them,” he added.
