The ruling All Progressives Congress APC has blasted the newly declared factional chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Tanimu Turaki, for calling on foreign powers to intervene in Nigeria’s domestic affairs. APC recently described the call as dangerous and unpatriotic, and Nigerians have been reacting.
In a press statement, APC spokesman Felix Morning revealed that Turaki’s remarks prove that he is in support of a foreign invasion of Nigeria that directly poses a threat to national security and sovereignty.
According to him, it is strange that Turaki, who only emerged as factional chairman 72 hours ago, is already sounding desperate, confused and incoherent.

He stated that the newly declared factional chairman of the PDP has proven that he lacks the stamina to manage his party’s crisis.
Noting that the international community can easily see through PDP’s embarrassing disintegration, he stressed that foreign partners should ignore the pitiful call for intervention.
Reaffirming its confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, the APC urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in supporting the government’s efforts to build a stable, progressive and prosperous Nigeria.
