Popular Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has urged his fellow citizens to learn to think like the rich. He recently shared his thoughts on why wealthy individuals seize opportunities boldly.
In an X post, Peter revealed that wealthy people are known for pursuing opportunities without worrying about appearances, unlike poor people, who allow shame to prevent them from taking life-changing chances.
According to him, Nigerians should learn to abandon self-consciousness and fear of judgment while trying to better their lives.
He stated that the earlier we all realize that success lies on the far side of shame, the better.

“Ever seen a rich man with shame? Never. Shame keeps the broke broke.
The rich don’t care how they look, chasing opportunity; they just go for it. Everything you dream of sits on the far side of shame. Be shameless and go get it,” he wrote.
Peter further noted that he is currently on tour, doing whatever it takes to sustain his success as an artist.
He concluded by saying that his fans will definitely have a good time as he displays his shameless side.
“On tour at the moment shamelessly shaming my shame,” he added.
