Ex-BBNaija housemate Nina Ivy has emphasised the importance of parental instinct over medical fear. She said that doctors once said that her son wouldn’t be able to walk, but she immediately rejected the diagnosis.
Speaking via her social media page, Nina recalled when her son was born prematurely, a reality that led to the doctor telling her that he might not be able to stand on his feet as an adult.
Nina disclosed that she refuted the medical diagnosis as soon as she heard it, and her son eventually started walking before he even clocked one.

“I looked him straight in the face and said, ‘My son will walk when it’s time,'” she wrote.
According to her, she can only warn Nigerians to stop accepting everything a doctor says blindly, because they are not God.
Nina concluded by saying that doctors sometimes put gullible patients on medications that will only lead to more complications in the near future.
“A lot of doctors put you on medications that only lead to more complications… Stay woke,” she added.
