Nollywood actress Nneoma Ukpabi has reacted to Rita Edochie’s recent comments on indecent dressing. She recently warned the veteran actress to desist from mentioning her name online.
Speaking via a clip shared on her social media page, Nneoma blasted Rita for involving her in one of her many online rants despite the fact that they have not been on speaking terms for over 8 years.
According to her, she doesn’t regard Rita as one of the Nollywood veterans she respects in the Nigerian movie industry, so she can keep whatever advice she has for her.
Nneoma concluded by saying that however she chooses to dress is nobody’s business, stressing that it is important to respect people’s space.
“How I dress is not your business. Let us respect each other’s space,” she simply said.

This is coming after Rita Edochie posted a strongly worded message tackling what she described as a rise in indecent dressing among women. Sharing a video that featured Nneoma, she urged people, especially celebrities, to dress more modestly.
The moviestar has since insisted that she won’t stop calling out celebrities who have decided to be a bad influence on young Nigerians.
“Your outfit to Ruby’s wedding was irresponsible and indecent. I am saying it again and again — you are a bad influence.
I cannot condescend as low as bantering words with you… there’s a long pace between my level and yours and you know it,” Rita added.
