Popular Hollywood actress Gabrielle Union has said that her daughter, Kaavia James, is obsessed with the idea of marriage. She recently revealed that her five-year-old daughter is already dreaming of wedding bells.

Speaking during a lighthearted appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Gabrielle shared that her baby girl showed that she has taken an interest in marriage during their annual family trip to Hawaii.

According to her, she and her husband cannot explain where the sudden obsession with marriage came from, but their daughter surprised them with that during their vacation.

“My child is obsessed with being married. We have no idea where that came from, but she’s like obsessed,” she wrote.

Revealing that her husband never had the opportunity to enjoy Christmas with his family while he played professional basketball, the moviestar noted that they have now made it a tradition to go on regular holidays to make up for lost family time.

She, however, confessed that what started as an intimate family vacation has evolved into a larger gathering, with “four other families” joining this year’s trip.

“So, ever since my husband retired from the NBA, because we never got Christmas. He always played on Christmas. He wanted to go away to a place and just be able to like cocoon as a family. So we started going to Hawaii,” she added.
