Nollywood actress, Biola Bayo, has announced that Jumoke George’s daughter, Adeola, who had been missing for four years, has finally been found. She recently revealed that Adeola has been spotted in Mali, and she is currently receiving medical attention.
Speaking via her Instagram page, Biola shared that Jumoke’s daughter is alive and well, and even if she is yet to speak to her mother after several years, it is good news that she is no longer missing.
“UPDATE! Adeola has been spotted in Mali. Though she hasn’t spoken with her mom yet, please tell her to call her. She’s currently in the hospital, but she will be happy to speak with her at least. I’ve tried calling her, but she has not been picking up anyone’s calls, and her mom is really worried,” she wrote.
According to Biola, Adeola misplaced her phone and became stranded in Mali amid the conflict between their military and Boko Haram terrorists, resulting in her being stuck in the country without travel documents or means to go back home.
The actress then promised more updates while appreciating every concerned Nigerian for their show of support and love during Jumoke George’s trying time.
“I finally got to speak with Adeola and this is what she said. She hasn’t called her mom but mom is happy she’s alive. @jumoke_george is currently at a state hospital in Lagos, hopefully she’ll be discharged or admitted after all her medical tests and reports, not sure yet.
Thank you to everyone for the support….The love has been massive. I’m indeed grateful to you all🙏🙏🙏,” she added.
The Child Rights Campaign (CRC) has been credited as the group responsible for tracking Adeola’s whereabout to Mali, and the organization confirmed that she had left Nigeria in search of better opportunities abroad.
