Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has dismissed circulating reports claiming she was arrested by the Nigerian police, calling them fake news.
Titansloaded reports that Ojo took to TikTok Live to address the viral claims, explaining that wanted posters and posts online are misleading and intended to drive traffic to social media pages.
Expressing her frustration, the actress accused rumour mongers of spreading false information to attract attention and profit. She said, “To you all rumour mongers that spread fake news about me, it shall not be well with you. Who did they arrest? Your fake news always makes my fans worried, and they will start calling to check on me. You love to mention my name in order to pull traffic to your page and make money. You are heaping curs£s on your head because I am a special being. Anyone who wishes me bad, it will go back to the sender.”
Iyabo Ojo’s clarification reassures her fans and serves as a warning against sharing unverified claims about public figures.
