Former Miss Nigeria, Ezinne Akudo, has finally addressed the long-standing rumours linking her to Nigerian footballer Emmanuel Emenike. The 2013 beauty queen recently shared that she has never met the former Super Eagles striker.
Speaking during an interview, Ezinne revealed that she has never been married and she needed to clear the air amid all of the false rumours.
According to her, she even attended Emenike’s wedding when it happened because his former wife was someone she knew back then.
“I’ve actually never addressed that. But I’ve never been married.
No, you’re joking. That’s why I said this answer will shock you. The person in question, I have never met in my life. I’ve seen him because I attended his wedding — his wife was someone I knew,” she said.

She clarified that the footballer never divorced his ex—wife and married her, and reports saying otherwise were blatant lies.
Ezinne disclosed that she never knew the fake rumour would stick the way it did, but the honest truth is that she has never been married or divorced.
“It’s gone on for like years now… The first time the story came out, I thought it was a joke. But then it kept popping up. Every few years.
I never knew that the story would stick the way it did. If you Google it, it’s there — like some confirmed truth. But I’ve never been married, never been divorced, and I’ve never met the person in question,” Ezinne said.
She concluded by blasting the media for constantly spreading false rumors just to get clicks and mislead the general public.
“I fear who no fear media,” she added.
