Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has announced that he is set to bury his parents. The goalie recently revealed that he never expected to be burying his mum and dad this early.
Announcing via his social media page, Nwabali shared that it is about time the burial happened, even though he never anticipated such a reality at this point in his life.
According to him, it is still very hard to believe that he is now an orphan, and he can’t even stomach the fact that he will never see his beloved parents again.
The Nigerian goalkeeper concluded by saying that losing both parents is a different kind of pain he wouldn’t wish on his worst enemy.

“About time to put my dad and mom to rest. Something I never imagined doing so soon at this point of my life. Difficult to believe I will never set my eyes on you again. It’s a different kind of pain I never wish for my enemy. Thank you for everything 🥲” he wrote.
Recall that Nwabali’s father passed in November 2024. Still mourning his dad, Stanley shockingly lost his mother two months later.
