Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has flaunted a lavish gift she received from her friend and colleague Funke Akindele. She recently revealed that Funke bought her a brand-new iPhone 16 Pro Max, and fans have been reacting.
During an exchange between the actresses at the 30th birthday celebration of fashion designer Veekee James, Funke simply joked that Iyabo needed a phone upgrade, to which Iyabo jokingly replied that she would only get a new one if Funke footed the bill.
Much to Iyabo Ojo’s surprise, Funke indeed footed the bill to purchase the top-tier smartphone for her friend.
In a viral clip, Iyabo was seen opening a gift box to unveil her brand-new device, beaming with joy.
Praising Funke Akindele for being the real MVP, she humorously asked her followers if they had friends capable of such expensive surprises.

Iyabo described Funke as the kind of friend who not only talks the talk but walks the walk, stressing that it was a pleasant surprise she is very grateful for.
