Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has addressed reports saying she subbed her colleague Biola Bayo following her recent divorce announcement. After Bakare shared a cryptic message online, many Nigerians interpreted it as a subtle jab at Biola’s marital issues.
Her post read, “All of us will eat breakfast. Asiko lo ma ya to. Good morning, people.”
However, the actress has come out to debunk the claims, saying that she was not even aware of Biola’s marital status when she made the post.
According to her, she had been very preoccupied with her daughter’s graduation ceremony in California, and she needs the trolls online not to try to stir up unnecessary drama between her and Biola Bayo.

Bakare further noted that she can never shade her colleague because she considers her a sister beyond Nollywood.
The moviestar concluded by saying that she’ll keep praying for Biola during her trying time.
“Let us all be guarded, please. It’s still June 5th here in America. California to be precise. I can never shade my own sister @biolabayo. My prayers are with you. I didn’t get any updates. I was busy with @simlineboss’ graduation. Trolls are evil,” she added.
