Popular singer, Cassie, who accused Diddy of years of abuse, has reacted to him being found guilty of two federal prostitution charges. She recently expressed relief at the decision, even though the music mogul was let go of three other more serious charges.
Speaking via her legal team, Cassie revealed that Diddy being found guilty of the prostitution charges is a major step towards accountability.
According to her, she is very pleased to see him being held responsible for two federal crimes, and she believes justice will prevail for all of his victims in the end.
“We’re pleased that he’s finally been held responsible for two federal crimes,” Cassie’s lawyer said to reporters outside the New York City courthouse.

Hours ago, a jury acquitted Diddy on the more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges that had rocked the entertainment world, but found him guilty of forcing individuals to prostitute themselves.
Each count carries up to 10 years in prison, meaning Diddy could face a maximum of 20 years behind bars.
A courtroom drawing captured the tense moments as Diddy listened to his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, deliver closing arguments. Outside, crowds of both supporters and protesters gathered, emphasising the huge stakes associated with the case.
Cassie and Diddy’s controversial history has long been in the public eye after they famously attended the Met Gala together in 2015.
Years later, Cassie came forward with explosive allegations that painted Diddy as controlling and abusive, an allegation he has consistently denied.
