Desmond Elliot Denies Gay Allegations on TVC News
Desmond Elliot, renowned Nollywood actor and now a prominent Nigerian politician, recently cleared up rumors regarding his sexual orientation. During a candid interview on TVC News, Elliot addressed speculations circulated by popular gossip blog Gist Lover, declaring that he is straight and emphasizing his focus on making a positive impact through his work.
Elliot explained that he initially felt no need to respond to the rumors, as he considered them baseless and not worth his time. “Why would I respond to allegations against me when it neither reduces nor increases my life? Secondly, it’s merely an opinion someone has conceived,” he shared, emphasizing that he values his actions and contributions to society over any ungrounded claims about his personal life.
Expressing his respect for individual freedom, Elliot underscored that everyone has the right to live as they choose, provided it is within legal boundaries. “If you feel you identify as something, that’s your right. People don’t have to accept it; just do you. But for me, let me state clearly, I’m straight… you won’t find anyone straighter,” he stated, dismissing the allegations with humor and finality.
