Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, has refuted reports saying she is battling cancer. The talented movie star recently urged Nigerians to ignore the rumours saying she has been diagnosed with the deadly disease.
Speaking via a viral clip circulating on social media, Mercy simply revealed that cancer is not the reason for her weight loss, like many have been speculating.
According to her, the clip of her speaking about having a cancer scare was from her cooking show that was filmed a while back, so the false speculations should stop.
The Nollywood superstar disclosed that while she indeed had a worrying growth around her neck years ago, it was not cancer.
She insisted that even though doctors feared the worst before her test results came, it turned out that the growth wasn’t cancerous, hence the restoration of her good health.
Recall that several Nigerians have been airing their concerns as Mercy Johnson continues to flaunt her slimmer figure on social media.
The filmmaker has, however, confirmed that her slimming tea brand is responsible for her drastic weight loss.
