Legendary Nigerian singer 2face Idibia has named Burna Boy as the best artist in Nigeria at the moment. He recently described the “On The Low” crooner as the “senior” among the current generation of Nigerian artists.
Speaking during a recent interview with Urban FM, Enugu, 2baba revealed that while he admires several Nigerian artists, Burna Boy stands out among his peers.
According to him, among all of his favourite musicians scattered across the country, Burna has shown that he is a force to be reckoned with.
2face, however, advised the Grammy award winner not to relent because other talented artists are coming for his throne.
“On a personal level, Burna Boy is my number one. Although I still have other artists that I admire. But personally as an artist, Burna Boy is my number one right now. Among all the others I am referring to, he is the senior.
There are still other ones that are coming up behind him that I see them going to the same level,” he said.

Meanwhile, 2face Idibia’s new wife, Natasha Osawaru, recently came out to celebrate him after his remarkable Billboard achievement.
Recall that 2baba’s “African Queen” topped Billboard’s 2025 list 50 best Afrobeat songs of all time weeks ago.
Reacting to the news, Natasha described 2face as a living legend, stating that he deserves to be celebrated for blessing Nigeria with his gift.
According to her, 2baba made Nigeria proud with his music for years, and his legacy will never be questioned.
“Congratulations, my husband. Ain’t nobody badder you. You are a living legend and a blessing to all of us. You’ve made Nigeria proud. I salute you,” she wrote.
