Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale has hailed veteran actor Adebayo Salami for the role he played in her career. She recently expressed her heartfelt gratitude at the premiere of “Her Excellency,” and fans have been reacting.
Speaking at the premiere that celebrated Adebayo Salami’s 60th year in the Nigerian film industry, Sola revealed that the veteran moviestar deserves praise for his kindness, generosity, and mentorship.
According to her, Adebayo played a massive role in her successful career as a Nollywood actress, and the fact that he is a selfless man has earned the respect of many in the industry.
“God used him to take me where I am today. I have never done this in my life, but I am going to do it today. Ese Modupe. I am very grateful.
You not only touched me, but you touched a lot of people, both alive and dead, males and females, young or old. You touched everybody, you’re a selfless man,” she said.

The actress further commended Adebayo Salami for being a man of substance, stressing that he would live long to enjoy the fruits of his labour.
She concluded by saying that God has definitely used the Nollywood legend to lift so many actors who have impacted Nollywood greatly.
“You are a man of action and substance, a giver. Thank you. One thing that I will never forget and have been waiting for the opportunity to say is Mama Wale. You supported him, and that’s why he is standing the way he is today. You will enjoy the fruit of your labour,” she added.
