Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has hailed the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for his developmental efforts in Abuja. She recently revealed that Wike has shown tremendous leadership by making Abuja a better place.
Speaking via a lengthy message on her Instagram page, Wike is a rare type of politician whose developmental approach to governance has boosted the status of the FCT, and he has definitely redefined what it means to be a Nigerian politician.
Tonto believes Wike’s name is now etched boldly into the evolving greatness of Abuja, and his relentless commitment to excellence and accountability will never be forgotten.
“In the annals of Nigeria’s unfolding democratic history, rare are the moments when a leader emerges—not merely to occupy office, but to redefine it.
One such figure in our time is His Excellency, Nyesome Wike, the honourable Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory—a man whose name is now etched boldly into the evolving greatness of Abuja,” she wrote.
According to her, Nyesom’s leadership has clearly triggered major progress across the city, and under his reign, Abuja has ushered in a new era of growth, while regaining its lost glory.
The actress also praised Wike’s environmental achievements, emphasising how the planting of more than 100,000 trees was a thoughtful move that deserves massive commendation.
Tonto concluded by saying it should be on record that Wike is not just serving Abuja and its people with his political decisions, he is helping to shape a working Nigeria as well.
“Under his stewardship, Abuja has not only regained its fading glory—it has ascended into a new era of purposeful beauty, structure, and growth.
His brilliance does not merely lie in technocratic delivery—it lies in his understanding of power, governance, and the political architecture that drives real change.
It is no surprise that whispers of a broader political future already echo in the corridors of power.
Let it be said, and let it be known: Nyesome Wike is not merely serving Abuja—he is shaping a Nigeria that works… Abuja shines because your hands are on the wheel,” she added.
